I grew up in China, where restriction was foreign and no one struggled with weight.

Then I moved to the US and gained 50 pounds in my first year. The diet culture, the guilt cycles, the constant food noise — I lived all of it.

Physical & sensory patterns

Your body's sensory system — how it senses, craves, and processes food — has turned against you. It's preventing weight loss and keeping you out of control.

Your dopamine system releases the "wanting" chemical for anticipation, not pleasure. That's why you're not hungry but can't stop thinking about the ice cream in the freezer — and why your hand is in the bag before your brain catches up. Years of dieting suppressed your interoception: your body's ability to read its own hunger and fullness signals. The same cycle crashed your metabolism and reprogrammed your nervous system to treat sugary, processed food as the default preference. Then cortisol from daily stress rerouted your appetite hours before the late-night raid.

It's a real conversation — not a sales pitch disguised as a consultation. We talk about where you are, what you've tried, and what's actually keeping you stuck. I'll be direct about whether the program is the right fit for your situation. If it's not, I'll tell you. The call is free, there's no obligation, and most people leave with clarity they didn't have before — whether or not they enroll.

Therapy explores why you feel the way you feel. This program rewires the patterns that make you act the way you act — with food, with eating, with your body. The work is deeply psychological, but the method is neuroscience-based and results-driven. We're not processing your past. We're editing the operating system your past installed — so the behaviors, cravings, and cycles change at the source. Many of my clients are in therapy alongside this work. The two complement each other, but they solve different problems.
